The National Bank’s share lost more than 10 percent on the Brussels stock exchange on Thursday morning, after the Bank published its figures for 2022 on Wednesday evening. Around 9.50 am, the share is 10.88 percent in the minus, to 590.00 euros. The National Bank of Belgium suffered a loss of 580 million euros in 2022. The dividend drops to 1.5 euros per share, the Bank reported on Wednesday after the stock market closed. In 2021 there was still a profit of 355 million euros and a dividend of 138.04 euros. The NBB thinks that the loss could amount to 10.8 billion euros in total over the next five years.
