Europe needs Azerbaijan’s energy resources, and Azerbaijan is ready to increase its supplies, said the country’s president, Ilham Aliyev.
“It turned out that Europe now needs Azerbaijan’s energy resources more than before. We are ready to increase our supplies and, of course, we want to start cooperation with friendly countries,” he said at the meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest, according to Azerbaijani media.
He noted that they will sign a memorandum of understanding, which will allow establishing long-term cooperation in the energy sector.
