Australian actor Peter Hardy, known for his roles in the television series ‘McLeod’s daughters’ and ‘Neigbours’, drowned last week. Australian media report this.
Hardy (66) had gone snorkelling at a beach near Perth last Thursday. It’s unclear why the man got into trouble, but his body was pulled lifeless from the water at about 11 a.m. (local time). Shortly before stepping into the water, he had posted another selfie online, with the message: “Another reason to be happy”.
His brother Michael Hardy has now confirmed the actor’s death. “I am devastated, but must report that Peter has suddenly passed away,” it sounds. “Rest in peace, little brother.”
